Bisexual Visibility Sunday

Bisexual Visibility Sunday

Sept 23 | 10am

Bisexual Visibility Day is observed on September 23 by members of the bisexual community and their supporters. This celebration of bisexuality in particular, as opposed to general LGBT events, was conceived as a response to the prejudice and marginalization of the bisexual persons by some in both the straight and greater LGBT communities. Come worship with us at 10am on September 20, 2026 as we show Christ’s inclusive love through an ever increasing welcome!

Blessing of the Animals

Blessing of the Animals

Oct 11 | 10am

For many of us animals are not just pets, but are family and beloved companions. A Blessing of the Animals witnesses to God’s and the Church’s love, care, and concern for creation. As we recognize our mutual interdependence with God’s creatures, the Church’s witness of stewardship of creation is strengthened. Join us on October 11, 2026 at 10am inside our fellowship hall for a service to bless our animals. All animals are welcome!!!

Spirit Day

Spirit Day

Oct 15

Help us stand against LGBTQ bullying this Spirit Day on Oct 15, 2026. Take a picture of yourself wearing purple and send it to Pastor@EnfieldUCC.org to post with the hashtags #SpiritDay #EnfieldUCC
Spirit Day is a means of speaking out against LGBTQ bullying and standing with LGBTQ youth, who disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities. Pledging to “go purple” on Spirit Day is a way for everyone — forward-thinking companies, global leaders, respected celebrities, neighbors, parents, classmates, and friends — to visibly show solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to take part in the largest, most visible anti-bullying campaign in the world.
