Jazz Worship Sunday

May 31 | 10aM

Join us for worship on Sunday May 31, 2026. Our service this day will be accompanied by The Hot Cat Jazz Band!
The Hot Cats can be found playing our infectious music for libraries, churches, and summer gazebo concerts across the state of Connecticut. Since their inception, the Hot Cat Jazz Band has performed hundreds of “jazz worship services” while accompanying congregational hymns.

Shoreline Ringers

Shoreline Ringers

June 7 | 4pM

Shoreline Ringers, inc. is a community handbell ensemble formed as a Connecticut non-profit corporation in September 2006. Our goals are to support the continued development of the art of handbell ringing and promote the ringing of handbells as a legitimate musical art form while educating audiences and increasing their knowledge and appreciation of handbell music through our concert performances. Our handbell ringers, some of whom direct other handbell choirs, have a breadth of ringing experience, and have come together to learn a more advanced repertoire.
Shoreline Ringers is not associated with a church congregation; and, therefore our repertoire can be secular and popular in nature. We highlight a variety of techniques and rhythms in our ringing and promise fun for all. Our group strives to educate audiences in the beauty of handbells as we perform a wide variety of challenging music. The choir rings 5 1/2 octaves of Malmark handbells and 7 octaves of Malmark hand chimes.

Hartford Gay Men's Chorus

Hartford Gay Men's Chorus

June 28 | 3pM

Founded in 2012, the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus’ 35+ voice ensemble is celebrated for their musicianship, creative programming, and community outreach. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Christopher Clark and Executive Director Robert Reader, the HGMC sings a wide range of music as catalyst to inspire, impact and enrich the lives of our members, patrons, and the community.
The HGMC recognizes the sociopolitical statement inherent in being an openly gay organization and, as such, representatives of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to their concerts, they represent the LGBTQ+ community through partnerships with other gay and gay-affirming organizations, outreach within our community and beyond, and participation and performances at pride events, cultural celebrations, civic programs, sporting events and other special occasions.
