WHO WE ARE

Who We Are

We are moderate-sized, family-oriented, theologically moderate New England church.  We have had worship services in our present building since 1849.  Through our many missions we seek to minister to our local community through missions such as Loaves and Fishes and our wider community through missions such as Neighbors-in-Need.

We celebrate together as we bring our children for baptism and nurture them through to Confirmation.  We have Bible studies, games nights, movies on the lawn.  Our men get together and have breakfast every week and our women get together and knit prayer shawls and make blankets for Project Linus.  We work on committees, sing in the choir.  We have been known to pick apples for pies to be made for the Craft Fest and to enjoy a pot luck dinner after our Christmas Pageant.

We believe that worship is central to the life of faith, that Christian nurture is a primary way to grow in faith, and that mission and ministry in the church and world is the way of Christian life.

We invite you to visit with us, pray with us, to work on spreading God’s word and love with us.  If you are looking for a Church home, remember you are welcome here.   We hope to see you on Sunday morning.
